James Lind Institute (JLI) aspires to always continue its strong focus on nurturing an environment in which students, staff, faculty and visitors experience no form of unlawful discrimination against them. The institute has no tolerance for harassment or discrimination of the basis of gender, race, color, national origin, age, disability, sexual orientation, pregnancy and other forms of discrimination as prescribed by local and international laws and ethical guidelines. All staff, faculty and students of the institute are expected to rigorously follow written policies and procedures that describe what constitutes unlawful discrimination at JLI.
The institute expects all students, staff and faculty to follow the law regarding harassment and discrimination. Information related to what constitutes discrimination is available on request from the Human Resources department at JLI. The same information is also provided in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Any member of JLI community who is found to be in violation of such policies and procedures of the institute and/or with applicable local laws can be subject to disciplinary action that can amount to termination of employment, removal from the program of study and the institute premises.
All complaints related to harassment and discrimination are handled confidentially by the institute as per applicable policies and procedures.
