MODULAR SYSTEM OF EVALUATION

The academic performance is measured by grade points on a 4 point scale

All programs conducted by us are based on a modular system with each study module equivalent to a specific number of credits. This is called the Module Credit Value or MCV. The sum of all Module Credit Values offered for a program make up the total credits awarded for that program.
The academic performance is measured by grade points on a 4 point scale. Generally speaking, online students can progress at their own pace.

CALCULATION
Based on the Point Value obtained by the student in each Study Module, Module Quality Points (MQP) are calculated.

MQP for each Module = Point Value x Module Credit Value

Overall academic performance is measured by a Cumulative GPA which is calculated as follows:

CGPA = Total of all MQP's / Total Module Credit Value for the Program

Point Value Description:

4.0 - 3.7: Excellent Performance
3.3 - 2.7: Very Good Performance
2.3 - 1.7: Good Performance
1.3 - 0.7: Satisfactory Performance
0: Failed

Note: Each module credit is equal to approximately 20 hours of study including lecture, tutorial, projects, assignment, field work etc. as may be applicable.
