Sonal Katyal, Ph.D.
Program Director for Economics at James Lind Institute & Rushford Business School
Dr. Sonal Katyal has more than ten years of academic and research experience. She has done her PhD in Economics in the area of Maternal Healthcare titled ‘Equity and Accessibility in Maternal Health Care – An Evaluation’. Previously, she has worked at coveted institutions like Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and has taught at highly ranked Lancaster University management school partnership in India. She is an active researcher and has presented and published her work at national and international platforms. She has also cleared UGC –NET in economics. Dr Sonal has a holistic approach to life and has interest in travel , baking , fitness and community activities.

Dr. Rabbanie Tariq, M.D

Multilingual public health strategic communicator with dual degrees in Medicine, Public Health & Preventive Medicine. Over 9 years of professional experience in strategic planning for corporate communications, risk communication, epidemiology and community engagement, always with a strong focus on health promotion, social marketing, advocacy, community mobilization, capacity building, and resource mobilization.

Tionna Jenkins, Ph.D., M.P.H
Faculty for Public Health
Dr. Tionna Jenkins has over 15 years of public health policy practitioner experience and currently serves as the Senior Advisor of Health Equity with Clinton Foundation Health Matters Initiative (CHMI) at the Clinton Foundation under the leadership of the 42nd President of the United States, President Clinton. In this role, she oversees the development, review, implementation and research on improving the equity portfolio, cultural and linguistic competencies and is the primary liaison for both regional and national external partnerships that work to build effective strategies that address disparities and equity.

Dr. Mennatollah S, BDS, M.Sc

She is an experienced teaching assistant with a demonstrated history of working in the higher education industry. She is skilled in charity work, teaching English as a foreign language, dentistry, cooperative, and group work. She has a strong educational background with a Bachelor's in Dental Surgery and a Master's degree focused in Health economics from Cairo University.

Prof. Amany Refaat, Ph.D.
Adjunct Professor for Public Health
Professor Amany Refaat graduated as a physician; however, she focused her career on medical education and public health. Her area of interest and experience is women's health and health promotion in a global context. She is advocating to women empowerment and protection from gender-based violence and specifically the harmful practice of Female Genital Mutilation/ Cutting ( FGM/C).

Dr. Farina Jamshaid, MPH
Adjunct Professor of Public Health
Dr. Farina is a Public Health Specialist at Ministry of Health in Saudi Arabia. She is a medical doctor by education and has extensive experience in medical practice as well as in managing and leading various public health programs conducted by the ministry.

Sonal Malhotra, Ph.D.
Associate Professor - Infectious Diseases
Dr. Sonal is a biotechnology professional with over 15 Plus years of Experience in biotech Industry and academia (India & USA). His interests are teaching and research in biotechnology industry and academia.
He is also interested in translational research, Genomic and Proteomic approaches to understanding disease pathogenesis and management. Infectious Disease Process: In particular the role of Disulfide Isomerases in Infectious disease.

Dr. Beenish Nazir, M.D
Associate Professor
Dr. Beenish did her MBBS from GMC (Sgr) and worked in many prestigious Institutions in India,UK and Saudi Arabia. She has completed her Post Graduation (DNB) from Shalby hospital Chandigarh under guidance of Dr.R J Dash. She started working at St.Martha's hospital, and did Post Graduate diploma in Rheumatology from John Hopkins Medical center, USA. She also did fellowship in Rheumatology from Guys and Thomas hospital in London under Dr.David D Cruz. She is well versed in managing diverse medical conditions. Her special interest lies in treating Rheumatoid Arthritis, SLE, Vasculitis, various Spondyloarthropathies and Psoriasis.
She is an excellent clinician and devotes lot of time in understanding the patient’s disease and advises treatment as per the latest protocol.

Dr. Tayyeba Idrees, MD.

Dr. Tayyeba is a working volunteer with different organizations to improve community development.

Esther Sathiaraj, Ph.D.

Dr. Esther is a Clinical Nutritionist with extensive experience in medical content development and research, training and management of teams.

Bradley Joblin, Ph.D.
Faculty for Clinical Research Programs
Bradley is a specialist in clinical development and early phase study design. His 15 years in the industry spans roles including the management early phase development program at the headquarters of AstraZeneca, global management responsibility for phase III/IV studies at the headquarters of Roche and as Chief Scientific Officer at a specialist phase 1 clinical study unit. Bradley has worked on development program in a variety of therapeutic areas including neurology, oncology, autoimmune disease, respiratory disorders, dermatology and infectious disease to name a few.

Dr. Gargi Deshpande, MPH
Adjunct Faculty for Epidemiology
Dr. Deshpande is an eager epidemiologist with a background in Oral Medicine. She is experienced working with epidemiological methods, statistical computing and mapping tools using SAS, STATA, RStudio and Tableau. She is passionate about the arena of infectious diseases through disease surveillance, spatiotemporal trends and clinical research.

Kanika Gupta, Ph.D.
Faculty for Business Management
Dr. Kanika is currently the chief academic officer and faculty at Rushford Business School. She provides support in the development of new programs offered at James Lind Institute and Rushford Business School, and teaches courses related to accounting, financial management and many others.

Ananya Bagchi, Ph.D.
Program Director & Faculty, School of Agribusiness
Dr. Bagchi graduated from IIT Kharagpur in Agricultural systems and management. She is very experienced in the field of agricultural sciences and is currently helping the school develop new agriculture related programs.
