Before I join and completed my Advanced Post Graduate Diploma in Tropical Medicine, Surveillance and Immunization at James Lind Institute in May 2018. I had completed Diploma in Ultrasound, BSc in Public and Environmental Health all from South Sudan. I have worked with Ministry of Health (MoH) of the Republic of South Sudan as Public Health Officer and Memorial Christian Hospital (MCH) as Hospital Administrator and Sonographer, University of Dr. John Garang Memorial Science and Technology as part time Teaching Assistant and many other NGOs including my current work at World Health Organization (WHO) as Immunization officer in South Sudan. I have contributed to research works including to the KIT Health in UK on Reproductive Health in South Sudan and have trained in various fields including in Health Sector Emergency Response Management, Integrated Diseases Surveillance and Response (IDSR), Cholera and outbreak management in Emergencies among others.

I am a polite, respectful and God fearing person. With achievement of ADPGDTMS at JLI, I am now a well-trained, nurtured and oriented Public Health Specialist with expertise in Tropical Medicine, Public Health Surveillance and Immunization that will contribute in promotion, prevention and protection of communities from preventable diseases, by supporting and encouraging communities to use, in addition, available resources for the prevention of diseases at their localities, participating in delivering health care services across the Country and beyond borders without fear or favour and segregation or division in all forms.

I am interested in clinical development, clinical research, medical diagnosis, and public health fields. I would like to blend my skills and upgrade in clinical development for me to protect public health of all kinds. I will do clinical research to become a medical writer and epidemiologist.

I am interested in advancing my career studies and either do MSc. Health System Management, MSc. Global Health MSc. Epidemiology or Infectious Diseases and PhD in Infectious Diseases Epidemiology with focus on Neglected Tropical Diseases. I am passionate with high rating proficiency in Microsoft office and other software maintenance, high rating internet skills; configure, browsing and emails, Research writing techniques in field reporting.

I chose James Lind Institute (JLI) because I was looking for a course in Clinical studies that is an online with reputable institute or University. JLI is the best choice that is recommendable because of its being a premier institute providing clinical research training to students and working professionals who intend to build a career in this growing sector of the pharmaceutical and biotech industry.

My experience with the modules I have completed at JLI is splendid. Throughout my course of study in Tropical Medicine, Surveillance and Immunization, I am encouraged and very happy with the study materials and online lectures provided. JLI is good educational institute for clinical and professional development for sure.

While practicing my knowledge obtained in Tropical Medicine and particularly in Surveillance and Immunization in my work career, I am thinking to do my next masters in Epidemiology and do PhD in Infectious Diseases Epidemiology with focus on Neglected Tropical Diseases. I will appreciate recommendations by JLI for this vision.

The Course was so excellent and good. I liked the design of the modules and quality of knowledge detailed.
