I come from a life science background, studying Microbiology, Botany, and Biochemistry. I have worked on a number of experiments and spent many hours in research labs pertaining to my areas of study. During my Masters in Biochemistry, I found my special interest in healthcare and I decided to study management in order to have a better idea of how healthcare is delivered and managed throughout the world. I also took some time off to work as an administrative intern at one of India’s leading hospitals. This position has helped me gain first-hand experience in the healthcare industry. I have worked on assignments to assess patient safety and patient-centered care. My time as an intern helped me discover my passion and what I want to do with my life.

I am very outgoing and curious. Critical thinking comes naturally to me and I love exploring new domains. I get fascinated about nature and the world itself. I constantly work to make myself better and gain new knowledge. I believe that a little kindness and compassion and a whole lot of love is what this world really needs.

To have a career in healthcare management where I could work towards making life better for us and our future generations. I want to drive businesses and motivate people to not only work for themselves but also for the people around us. My most recent interest lies in Medical / Pharmaceutical regulatory affairs where I seek to ensure safety and efficacy of multiple products used in healthcare delivery and cater to the needs of the growing system.

I am an outdoor person who loves nature. Gardening and Caring for animals are my favorite hobbies. I love playing sports like badminton, table tennis and throw ball. When I’m indoors I love to cook and decorate places.

I was looking for an online platform that would give me a broad view of the course I wanted to study. JLI appealed the most to me with their curriculum and the upgrade to MBA programme. JLI has students from all across the world and I wanted to have a diverse group of people to have good meaningful discussions with during my study. I also felt that the course was well recognized in the professional setting.

The study material is elaborate but easy to understand. The suggested video lessons definitely enhances our knowledge pertaining to the topics being discussed. Presentations are very well prepared with appropriate images for better understanding.

The APGDHM has made me confident to take on executive and managerial roles in the healthcare industry. Communication and team co-ordination are my key strengths. I form strong bonds with my colleagues and have a good rapport with the people I work with. I am a self starter and believe in the power of life long learning. Public speaking and presentation skills are my strong points which helps me put across my views with ease.

The programme is well suited for any level of study as it builds on the basics. Appropriate examples have been quoted wherever necessary and the assignments are given keeping in mind the basic understanding of the student.
