MORE ABOUT ME

I started my career way back in 2001 as a registered pharmacist in a retail pharmacy after completing my diploma in pharmacy. However, I was interested in learning further. Hence, I enrolled in B.Pharm in 2003 and completed in 2007. Thereafter, I joined TCS in July 2007 as Drug Safety Associate and used to process clinical, spontaneous and literature cases. Later, in 2010 I joined Sciformix Technologies as Medical Writer and was responsible for drafting safety reports like PSUR, PADERs, ASRs, Canadian Annual Reports. In Dec 2011 I joined Cactus Communications as a Data QC specialist and was responsible for quality control of wide array of documents ranging from integrated summary of safety, efficacy, CSRs, Manuscripts, etc. I had to leave from there as I had to travel to Australia for personal reasons. I joined back in TCS as a Business Process Lead and currently I am responsible for authoring aggregate reports and managing a small team of 5 writers.

I am a fun loving person, but I am always curious to observe and learn. I especially have an eye for detail and like to learn minute details. Moreover, I always try to reach the cause of the problem to effectively solve it.

My career interests are medical writing, pharmacovigilance and process management.

I would definitely like to manage a larger team in future.

I chose JLI for several reasons including but not limited to:
1. JLI easy paced programs gives you the desired flexibility to hone your skills and leanings
2. JLI syllabus is ideal for continuous learning for working professionals like me.

I look forward to attain a long term career oriented profile after completing my program.

1. Honesty and Integrity
2. Attention to Details
3. Strong working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease states, medication names and drug therapies
4. Pharmacovigilance, Medical writing, Narrative writing and peer review
5. Literature search and review

I have enrolled in two programs. My experience has been satisfactory. Perhaps being active in the industry for quite a while, I have come across some very recent updates which need to be incorporated but I am sure JLI will do that. I must commend the presentation style of the slides of JLI.
